Technical Buyer (m/f/d)

Work location:

hybrid (home office & LK Ostallgäu)

Stopping climate change, securing energy supplies and making soils fertile? The revolutionary autarkize pyrolysis technology makes it all possible.
Our technology enables the conversion of biogenic residues into a high-quality pyrolysis gas. This in turn can be used to generate climate-neutral electricity and heat.
The second product is biochar, a valuable soil conditioner for agriculture and forestry. At the same time, biochar also has one of the world's greatest potentials for removing billions of tons of CO2 from the atmosphere and thus reversing climate change.
With our technology, companies and municipalities can close (their own) material cycles, become energy self-sufficient, make the soil more resilient and actively contribute to climate protection.

Our task as a start-up in the beautiful Allgäu region is now to bring this pyrolysis technology into series production and to constantly develop it further. To this end, we are looking for a Technical Buyer (m/f/d) with immediate effect.

Your tasks:

  • Development of operational purchasing
  • Collaboration in make-or-buy decisions
  • Development and introduction of digital tools
  • Collaboration in the development of quality management
  • Cooperation with the R&D department
  • Supporting technical sales, particularly with regard to the cost base
  • Management of suppliers and partners
  • Part of the young company's strategy development
  • External representation of the company

Requirements:

  • Degree or technician with professional experience in purchasing in process engineering / chemical engineering
  • Negotiation experience in supply chain / purchasing at operational level
  • Experience in the market environment of plant construction (chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical plants, power plants, biogas plants, etc.)
  • Initial negotiation experience in legal, commercial and technically complex procurement environments
  • Confidence in the presentation of complex issues (also internationally)
  • English language skills

What we offer:

  • A motivated, competent team
  • Good and performance-related compensation
  • Flexible working hours
  • An exciting, challenging and varied job
  • The opportunity to develop yourself in a fast-growing, innovative company

We are also happy to support you in further training that makes sense in the context of your work and personal development.

If we have aroused your interest, we look forward to receiving your application.
